The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge, which is – according to the government – expected to be ready for commissioning by the end of this year, is said to be one of the world’s longest bridges above water. But some of those working on it see it as a “blood and sweat” project.
On March 29th, three overseas workers fell into the sea at a construction site on the Hong Kong Link Road, one of the main parts of the project. Two died. One was rescued.
